Home-cooked Feels in a Government Building

Located on the eleventh floor of the Tama ward office, this eatery is a bit of a surprise in terms of location and food. I have been to a few ward offices, and this is the only one with a place to eat in the same building that is accessible to the public. On Google Maps, this is written as a restaurant, but it’s really just a cafeteria. That means the menu is limited and always changing, and a constantly changing menu means that food is almost always fresh. You go up to the staff window, give them your order, pay, then find a seat. The food is decent and has that home-cooked feel, but definitely not something someone who likes to live in the upper echelons would appreciate. The seating is very spacious, although the table covers seem to need replacing. It felt a bit dirty being there, although it might just be age. You are greeted with a nice overlook view of the area if you sit by the windows, though.
