Memory: Document, People of Ashidaki

A cool concept behind this modern art piece

This outdoor art installation is called "Memory: Document, People of Ashidaki" and it's located by Ashidaki Station in the Tsunan area of Niigata. It's been around since 2006, and it depicts life-sized silhouettes of the villagers of Ashidaki. I think it's such a cool concept, and it looks amazing with the natural landscape surrounding it. In saying that it might be a bit terrifying if you were there after dark!
