Kawama Station area in Noda City has a recently-opened Chinese restaurant, Jiwanka. Most menu items are priced at about 900 yen. I got stir-fried noodles with vegetables and a side of gyoza. The noodle dish reminded me of Hong Kong cooking with lots of flavour, sauce, and a generous amount of veggies. The shop is in a refurbished building and has a bright, clean interior. It's open Tuesday to Sunday, 10:30 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. You might want to brush up on your Mandarin or get your smartphone translation app handy, as the chef is doing her best to learn Japanese.
