If you're looking to enjoy kochia season this autumn and you're based in Niigata, one spot to check out is the Yuzawa Kogen Panorama Park. This photo was earlier in the season but right now the kochia are meant to be at their lovely red peak, so plan a visit soon if you'd like to appreciate their beauty. Access is via ropeway so keep that in mind.
