Rakuda Plaza Coin Parking

Conveniently located, reasonably priced and a bit of history thrown in

Rakuda Plaza Coin Parking is my car park of choice when I am bringing visitors to tour around the old warehouse district of, and penny candy alley in, Kawagoe. It is reasonably priced for its convenient location, across the road from one of the entrances to penny candy alley and minutes walk from the Bell Tower and Ichibangai, the main tourist strip. There are two sections to the car park. The front part, car park 1, is a little more expensive and the car park out the back, car park 2, is a little bit cheaper. Car park 1 has an upper cap of 800 yen per day while the back car park 2 has an upper cap of 600 yen, which is about 600 yen cheaper than the average in this area of Kawagoe. The car parks have old warehouses in them. The doors in the picture are the entrance to one of the old warehouses, called kura in Japanese. You can't enter them, but you can admire from the outside!
