Minoh Otaki
The big waterfall power spot at the end of this easy trail is worth it, especially for the fall leaves if you go in November. We parked our bikes near Hanjyu Minoh Station (100 yen), but there is some free parking if you ride up the "Taki Michi" a little ways. It can get crowded on weekends and holidays during fall. Lots of kids (sometimes requiring help), dogs, and people in their usual footwear, as this is an easy paved road with just a little up and down. The momiji tempura is fun! There are little shops along the way although this is inside a national park. If you pack a lunch, there are a couple places to stop and eat. There's an insect museum too.

A scenic hiking trail
I visited Minoo Park for the first time when I wanted to try hiking in Osaka. The hiking trail stretches from Hankyu Minoo station up to the park's main and amazing attraction; the waterfalls! The trail is mostly paved and easy to hike; it took me around 50 minutes to arrive at the waterfalls. During my hike, I passed by several shops and temples. I visited this spot again in Autumn, the colors of Autumn here were mesmerizing. This park is a good place for a short breeze from urban Osaka.
