Hamura Tulip Fields

Beautiful tulips in the Tokyo suburbs

Japan has a whole range of great places to enjoy spring's beauty, including many tulip destinations. One gem in a somewhat surprising spot is the Hamura tulip fields, which are in what most people would call a fairly residential area! During the spring season there is typically a festival held here so that visitors can enjoy the blooms on display - there are usually around 40,000 of them to enjoy in a host of colors and varieties. On-site parking is available but the roads leading up to the area are a little narrow!
