Gunma Safari Park

A kid friendly day out, all from the comfort of your own car

If your kids are in the "all about animals" stage, then a great spot to visit is the Gunma Safari Park. There are all manner of amazing animals to see there, from lions to tigers, zebras and more You really do get an experience of what it would be like to be on safari! One of the best things here as well is that you have the option to either take your own vehicle through the grounds, or hop on board one of the provided buses. It makes it particularly convenient if you have car-seat aged kids, so that you can just all stay in your own vehicle. It goes without saying but do make sure that your little ones can't reach the window or door latches - they make a very specific point about ensuring that doors and windows are closed and locked at all times - for the obvious reasons! They do have English audio GPS so as you go around the park it tells you what animals are in what sections, and a bit about them.
