An onsen with black water
The Yumori is a rather traditional onsen situated in Chofu. You can get there by shuttle bus from the station Musashi Sakai. The onsen are separated into male and female baths. A private onsen is not available. The main feature of this onsen is the black water that contains a lot of salt and minerals that are beneficial for your health. There also is an electric bath where a small current is running through the water. Don't worry it is very weak so that it cannot be of harm but if you like it it can be a nice massaging or muscle stimulating effect. After the bath, you can enjoy Matcha and sweets in the cafeteria. The price for an adult is 1,200 Yen for the whole day including rental towels.
