Koetoko

Has potential, but hasn't gone down well

Koetoko only opened a few years ago. But the buildings have been there for decades. They were renovated and made into a peculiar sort of mini hybrid historic / business park. This didn't go down well with locals, and it is a little away from the main tourist area, so it doesn't attract many people. But I like it and I think it has huge potential. It was formerly the Kawagoe Textile Market and Nutritional Food Distribution Center and although the buildings have been refurbished, you can imagine how it was in the days of yore - if you can block out the modern high-rise apartments behind!
