Friendly, efficient, and patient with foreign customers

I'm fairly fluent in Japanese, having passed the JLPT N2 level. However, banking is still intimidating to me, with a lot of specific vocabulary and kanji that tax my comprehension. I needed a handful of services, replacing a worn bank card, a replacement bank book, and some other fiddly business so I gritted my teeth after looking up some key vocab. The reception at this branch of UFJ Mitsubishi greeted me kindly and put me at ease. The patient staff easily led me through bank procedures and I got through various procedures with little stress. I get the impression that they're used to serving customers who are not native-level speakers of Japanese.
