Ryusenji Temple

Ryusenji temple is one of Kumagaya's most famous temples. Moreover, it is famous throughout Japan as one of the three great temples for protecting against evil! In addition, in recent years the temple is known for its stenciled paper cut 'goshuin' temple seals. Reportedly, they were the first temple ever to offer these type of intricate stencil cut temple seals. Furthermore, this temple has daruma prayer votives, which is not something you see everyday! They also have three (small) hanachozu which are the flowers in a water basin. There are several other points of interest on the temple grounds.
