    A stylish camera shop

Popeye Camera is located near Jiyugaoka Station, within walking distance. While it may not be worth it to make a trip all the way there just to visit it, if you're in the area and like cameras, it's definitely somewhere you should stop. The main draw of the shop seems to be its camera accessories. They stock a lot of cute cases, straps, and the like for camera lovers. They're products that look unique and not something you'd see at larger stores like BIC Camera or Yodobashi. Their film selection is also impressive. They carry a lot of different brands. They have more than just the standard Fujifilm which is more than I can say for a lot of other bigger camera stores. However, the prices are a bit more expensive. If you're looking to buy a camera, though, you may be disappointed. They have a lot of disposable cameras, but their used camera section is pretty lacking. In fact, there were only about three or four when I visited. Of course they were overpriced too. In all, this is a good store to browse around if you are curious and have time to kill. If you have money, you can also get some really cool stuff here. But for those of us who don't have deep pockets, you can find most everything here elsewhere for cheaper.
