Interplanetary Imports!

In most places, saying things like "I'm going to Jupiter!" would be met with confusion if not a call to professionals in white coats. In Sendai, it is met with a nod of acknowledgement, or perhaps a request, "Could you pick up something for me?" Jupiter is the easiest import store to find in Sendai, excluding the Kaldi in the shopping arcade. Located on the first floor of Sendai Station, across from Freshness Burger and next to the post office, the shop is hard to miss, provided you go to the right floor. The selection of coffee beans is well-known, though they have striven to offer a fairly comparable array of imported teas. Inside the shop, you'll also find a great selection of jams and jellies in addition to many sugary sweets from around the world. My current favorite indulgence, stroopwaffles, are available in a variety that is a threat to my wallet as well as my waistline. Savory options, canned produce, spices, cereal, and even a few overpriced cheese options add to the reasons to stop by Jupiter when you have a little bit of extra money and time. This is also likely the only place in Sendai where you can regularly buy A+W rootbeer and Cherry Dr. Pepper. If you need a food or drink from abroad and happen to be around Sendai Station, this is the first place you should look.
