The shop where Denkichi is located is jinxed. The Kawajima Cainz mall isn't that old, it was completed about nine years ago. The majority of the shops have been the same throughout those nine years, but this building's shop has changed four times in those 9 years. Denkichi is the latest tenant. It replaced a sports shop which had a great camping section. Before that it was another electric shop and before that a shoe shop. The Denkichi is open about a year. It will be interesting to see if it lasts more than the fated two years! It seems to enjoy a good trade, but so did the shops before it. You can barter on price for electrical goods in this shop. The price of computer games is fixed though, same with toys. There is a small padded play area near the cash registers with some toys out for kids to use freely. Lots of parking and it is free. Toilets and a baby changing area near the front door.
