Rakusato no Kai

Prettiest ditch in Japan!

Rakusato no Kai is the name of a community flower garden, alongside a ditch! Some people call it Ichikawa Ditch. It was 1.2 kilometers long until last year when they took just under 300 meters of the land, along with some of its beautiful early blooming cherry blossoms, for a roadside station they are building. These beautiful cherry blossom trees that line either side of the ditch and the flowers (iris, hydrangea) were largely off the beaten track, but now that they are building a roadside station I've no doubt they will become famous!
