Kawagoe Station's tourist information has friendly, helpful staff. I dropped by to ask about an event at a temple, and the staff members could give me clear guidance in both English and Japanese. In front of the storefront is a large touch screen that displays locations on a map with descriptions in various languages. The city's paper maps are available in different languages, too. They're informative and clear. You can also leave your luggage here for a fee, get discount tickets for tour buses, and connect to the city's WIFI.
