Great for events
Yoyogi Park is one of the most famous in Tokyo and for good reason. Apart from being in a great location and offering a bit of green in an otherwise grey city area, the park has some really great events throughout the year. Personally, I visit the "I love Ireland" festival at the park annually! It is on the same day as the St Patrick's Day parade in Omote Sando.

Yoyogi Koen
Yoyogi Park is a famous destination. I have visited the park only twice as far as I remember. There is a wide grass area for a picnic with friends or family. You can also play sports, walk around and see the beautiful nature without your view being interrupted by tall buildings.

Always something to enjoy here
Yoyogi Park is one of those places in Tokyo that always seems to have something happening (well, at least pre-COVID!). Markets, festivals, something beautiful in bloom - it's such a nice green space in the heart of the city. Any time I'm in Harajuku I always like to head to the park as well, just for a little peace and tranquility!

Cherry blossom viewing with picnic
I visited this park countless times, especially during spring time. It's not the best for cherry blossom viewing but one of the top spots. In late winter, you can enjoy plum blossom viewing too. It's fewer trees than Cherry Blossom, but It looks more serene than usual hanami where it can get crowded and noisy. It's more like for oldies!
