Nothing special except when the lavender are in bloom
Shirasagi Park is a very small park with little going for it. Except in June, when the lavender bloom. The park is split into two - one side is "lavender hill", the other a hill with a small playground. Lavender Hill is one of several sites of the Kuki City "Blue Festival" which celebrates flowers that are shades of blue (although in truth most of the flowers involved are actually shades of purple!) The park does have a couple of public toilets, a vending machine and a water drinking fountain, but not much else. The car park is also very small, fitting just 10 to 12 cars. However, if you are attending the main site of the Blue Festival (at the Shobu Branch of Kuki City Hall) there are bicycles you can borrow for free to get between the various flower locations.
