Campsite with a view

Located by the Tone River in rural Shibukawa, Hisuruma Campsite is a basic campsite with stunning views. Even though it is quite basic, it has a great playground. Kids can play uninhibited for hours. There is no electricity or electrical outputs on the grounds except for in the toilets. It is a free site type system where sites are not plotted out and first come are first served. The majority of the sites have some shade from the tall mature trees. There are a couple along the river with no shade. There is a small white river beach on one side of the campsite. And a rock river beach on the other side. From this rocky beach there is a view of a charming train bridge where a steam locomotive runs on weekends. A site costs around 3,500 yen and there is no cancellation fee. No English available.
