Melt in your mouth beef - amazing!

We headed here to spend some time with family and headed there based on their recommendation. They'd raved about the gyu-katsu, so we went for lunch. This isn't the cheapest place around but at lunch time they have some really well priced lunch specials. The other three in our party opted for the gyu-katsu lunch set which was priced around 3500 yen, and I opted for the beef teriyaki set which was 2000 yen. Usually if I see large slices of meat on top of a bowl of rice, I worry that it's going to be chewy or gristly. This meat was MELT IN YOUR MOUTH good. Seriously, we were all oohing and ahhing about how good it was. For those ordering the gyu-katsu, it comes out not fully cooked, but they bring a hot stone to your table and you continue cooking it to your liking. Definitely recommended!
