    Classy Spot to Savour Yakiniku

Just a few minutes (on foot) from Hon-Kawagoe Station, KANETORA is a Yakiniku restaurant that serves high-quality meat, as well as other mouth-watering Japanese and Korean dishes! It can be a little pricey compared to other Yakiniku restaurants. However, it’s definitely worth it, especially if you’re celebrating a special occasion or you just don’t mind spending a bit of dough for exceptionally good food. With regards to its INTERIOR, it has a modern- Japanese aesthetic and it is quite spacious, which is not that common to see in most Japanese restaurants. Moreover, it also has a dim lightning, creating a serene and (somewhat) romantic vide. APPETIZER: 1. Korean Seaweed and Namul Salad (780 yen) Namul is actually a Korean dish made from different kinds of leaves or grass that can be eaten. We chose this item because its presentation looked appetizing and beautiful (5 layers of vegetables). It tasted mild, which I did not expect. I was expecting a stronger flavour but it was still tasty. MAIN COURSE: 1. Assorted Vegetables (780 yen) It’s a normal vegetable set you grill in a Yakiniku restaurant. It's fresh and good, but nothing special. 2. Kanetora Set (4,900) We choose the cheapest set. I couldn’t remember what kind of meat was included, but I do recall enjoying every bite. It’s one of the best Yakiniku I’ve ever tasted. DESSERT: 1. Tropical (580 yen) It has tropical YUZU sherbet and iced yogurt. It was sour and sweet, giving you a refreshing flavour. 2. Yogurt Strawberry (580 yen) This one also has yogurt and strawberry ice cream. It can be a bit too sweet sometime but if you love strawberry, you would definitely love this! * Overall, I loved eating-out in Kanetora! I totally loved its ambiance and food., so I’ll definitely come back again!
