Shorinji is located on the top of a hill in rural Yorii town, but it is relatively close to a train station. It is an off the beaten path hydrangea temple. And the hydrangea are really beautiful and very well tended to. The temple is also known for its stone statues. There is a large parking lot, but you need to use a narrow, steep road to get to it.
