Civic center, close to Kashiwa Station

Kashiwa City's civic center is quite beautiful, and spacious, and provides connections for all kinds of people living in the area. On the third floor of Lions Tower Kashiwa is a wide entrance, a gallery (some exhibitions require paid admission), and a series of reception desks and spaces for citizens to gather, talk, and work. The object of my visit was the Kashiwa City International Exchange Center with friendly and welcoming staff. The center provides Japanese language classrooms and workshops for foreign residents. The general reception takes reservations for co-working, workshops, and event registration. Visitors can simply hang out for a few hours to study or conduct informal meetings in the open space.
