Waguri Shiratsuyu

Waguri Shiratsuyu is a charming little store in the Higashi Chaya area of Kanazawa, and it specializes in chestnut-based sweets. They've got some creative items on their menu, too, including things like parfaits topped with the Mont Blanc topping that you'd usually get on cakes. They do have cakes, too, if that's more your preference! Definitely pricey, though (desserts range from about 1700 yen to 2600yen-ish) so it's more of a special occasion spot IMO.
