Isesaki Forest Park

Nice spot for early sakura

The Isesaki Forest Park is a nice place to visit in spring for their early blooming kawazuzakura. They have somewhere over 100 of the trees which usually bloom from the late February to mid March timeframe. I would recommend going around early March as we went over the weekend and while some of the trees were still in full bloom, others had their petals falling and green leaves. It's a very spacious park though, and free as well -- recommend checking it out if you're not far away.
