Caffeine fix near Niitsu Station
Akiha Coffee Hub is a nice place for your caffeine fix, and it's super close to Niitsu Station so it's convenient even if you're in the area on public transport. There's quite a decent amount of seating packed in to a fairly small space, with both tables and counter seats available -- some of the tables also have couches instead of regular chairs. They have a one-coin coffee option for 500 yen, and a variety of other single origin blends priced a bit higher (650-700 yen-ish). I do think the price is higher than some other places in Niigata, but the quality is good.
