The best tempura

Check the review for their other location in front of Beppu Station. I ordered the same thing - ten-don, but my husband ordered the tori-ten (chicken tempura) the area is famous for and a rice set. It was super good as expected, way better than other tori-ten we've tried in the city. Ten-don comes with seasonal veggies (eggplant, bell pepper, and pumpkin in August) and shrimp over rice. It's served with soup and pickles. The service is really fast and the restaurant stays fairly busy. Food was brought to the table by the chef.
