Green path with funky sculptures

Saitama Shintoshin, the new urban center completed in 2000, has monumental glass, steel, and concrete towers. However, there is some green and quirky spaces. Walk south from the east exit of Sataima Shintoshin Station on the elevated walkway to Shiki no Michi. It's a park with varied levels, some benches, and a lot of sculptures. There are some amusing details here. The round tiles of the conical towers ring a little when you tap them. The retaining wall has small bronze sculptures of fantastic creatures. I love the two-headed friends.
