Tsunoshima Bridge

Iconic and picturesque

I’d always seen pictures of this bridge when it came to looking up things to do in Yamaguchi Prefecture. We headed out there and it really is a neat architectural feat. The bridge spans almost two kilometers in length, and there were tour buses stopping there as well so it does seem to be quite the tourist attraction. There are raised viewing platforms that you can access via some steps to get the best vantage point. There is a bunch of free parking by the start of the bridge as well, so if you’re headed there via private vehicle you shouldn’t have a problem finding a spot.
