Arakawamizube Park

Riverside park with barbecue facilities and a playground

Arakawamizube park is a riverside park beside Kitsuregawa Roadside station in Sakura City in Tochigi prefecture. There is a relatively new playground in the park. It is mainly suited to small, preschool aged children, but it has some swings and a two diggers which might be of interest to older children too. Currently part of the park is still closed off after sustaining damage in typhoon Hagibis earlier in the year. There are dozens of barbecue pits under a permanent roof along the riverside. You can use them in season once you have your own charcoal and supplies with you. There is a tap for washing near these pits. Parking is along the side of the roadside station and is free.
