Motomachi Park

Nice outdoor area surrounding many of the city's beautiful buildings

This nice little park is right by a number of Hakodate's famous buildings, and it's a lovely spot to just soak up some beautiful views out over the city's harbor. The only thing I'd keep in mind if you're visiting is that this is quite a hilly area - we had our daughter in a stroller at the time and it was definitely a workout getting there! If you have mobility issues just keep that in mind as a consideration.
