Ninja Akasaka

A themed restaurant with surprisingly good food

Any time I go to a themed restaurant, I try to keep my expectations in check – I typically find they're a bit gimmicky and the food isn't really where the restaurant shines. If you visit the Ninja Akasaka restaurant though, be prepared to be pleasantly surprised! The restaurant itself is definitely fun and immersive, and it lives up to the ninja theme, but the food...it's GOOD. You pay for it (course menus are around 8000-13000, so I recommend it for a special occasion over a "we're just going out for dinner" vibe), but it's quality stuff. They also have kids set plates available if you're visiting the restaurant with little ones in tow.
