Great new addition to the Fussa area

One reason I love revisiting my old stomping ground of Fussa (other than visiting old friends!) is because the food scene there is very American focused owing to the military base in the area. There are bagel cafes and all day breakfast diners, burger restaurants, and plenty more. A new addition is Gumbo Hut Shioya, which is perfect if you've got a craving for Creole cuisine. The hearty soup-stew hybrid here comes in several varieties including a basic one, plus one with shrimp, or one with mussels. The menu also includes taco rice, Po Boy sandwiches, and sides like fried okra. Menus are in Japanese and English.
