Mt Sengen Hillside park

Great place to hike to with kids

The Mt Sengen Hillside park is located in Ogawa Town in the Hiki District of Saitama. You can either hike up to it or drive. If you do come by car please note that you have to take a steep hillside country one lane road. At the mount there is a small park with a playground and Saitama's longest roller slide. The roller slide gives great views for the surrounding area. You have to pay for the roller slide, but it is worth the 100 yen. As the roller slide is long it is recommended that you sit on something going down it. You can buy something to sit on if you haven't brought anything with you. There is also a small athletic type playground in the park. There are toilets and a shop in the park too and a look out point which affords great views. Photo: the view coming down the roller slide.
