Friendly tourism staff generous with brochures

About a three-minute walk west of Matsudo Station is the Matsudo Information Centre. You can't miss the purple storefront and banners. The staff handed me maps, and a glossy special edition guide from Rurubu, a travel guide publisher. At the counter, you'll also see miniature versions of Matsudo City's decorative manhole covers. Visitors who spot manhole covers receive a collectible card. Besides Matsudo City pamphlets and promotions, the displays stock maps and guides for neighboring cities.
