Ishiura Shrine

Nice place for the stacked torii atmosphere

If you've been to Kyoto's Fushimi Inari and loved the stacked torii vibe but didn't really love the crowds, Kanazawa's Ishiura Shrine is a nice alternative. It's Kanazawa's oldest shrine (a nice drawcard for the history buffs out there), and definitely great for a photo op without hordes of people in the background. Really pleasant after dusk, too.
