    Walking Among the Flowers ^.^

The Sendai Flower Garden is a great place to go for a relaxing outdoor walk. Access is a bit complicated if you're new to the area, requiring either a car or taking the bus. Parking is free though! We had a little trouble figuring out how to get into the actual park. There is a counter inside the main building that allows access. Once outside, there are a multitude of walking trails lined with flowers of various types. The flowers are wild so, of course, all seasonal. If you can read Japanese, the various types of flowers are all labeled and their active season and description is on the label. Entrance is mere 240 yen so it's cheap enough to go multiple times to see everything. If you have young ones, the park is not stroller friendly unless you have a stroller with good tires (Airbuggy for example). There's also no English support available but unless you read want to read all the flower labels, it's not really needed. There is also a small restaurant on the premises with a small variety of Japanese food available.
