Easy spot to find a seat, and open early

If you need your caffeine fix early in the morning in Nagasaki, and would prefer a sit down spot rather than a bottle or can from the convenience store, the Starbucks at Nagasaki Station is handy. The store opens from 7.30am, and you're able to pay with cash or card - which is convenient if you're like me and never seem to have actual cash on you. The staff are friendly and the store has plenty of seating. There are also plenty of fun mugs and cups for sale - we visited in October, just before Halloween, and there were lots of Halloween inspired goodies (including pumpkin shaped Starbucks mugs) for purchase. Sure, it's a chain, but sometimes you just need coffee and a seat. This place delivers that in a convenient location.
