Artisanal bread on the airport route

If you happen to transit through Shin-Kamagaya Station on the way to Narita or Haneda Airports, you might want to make a pit stop here. There is a chain store bakery, but I recommend the artisanal bakery on the north side of the gate to the Hokuso/Keisei station. Canis Minor is a bakery with a patio with a few tables just steps away from the station. The small shop bakes barley, brown rice, and whole wheat bread. The baking of the varieities is staggered, from 10:15 and 12:45 most days. I picked up a crescent of shiopan cheese for 110 yen. It's fragrant with sharp cheese, crisp on the outside and chewy on the inside. Shiopan cheese is limited to three items per customer. Note that the shop is closed on some Sundays, Mondays and holidays. https://www.hmcorp.co.jp/minor/
