You Don’t Pay for the Service Here
This sushi izakaya was relatively empty during my visit. I was interested in it because they had horsemeat sushi on the menu. I ordered a few other things as well. Unfortunately, the service here is a bit of a dealbreaker. They either got orders wrong or quantities incorrect when we called them over. We had an order come late and we had to ask about it two times before it arrived, but it was missing a piece of sushi. Then, when we confirmed that our order was coming, the server thought we had ordered something else. That being said, if you don’t mind waiting so long, the scallop sushi here is probably the best scallop I have ever tasted during my time in Japan. They have the perfect amount of wasabi on the rice and the best thickness of scallops on top. The scallop sushi is literally the only reason I have a 3/5 rating for it.
