Great spicy miso ramen
Kumabokko is a cash only ramen shop in Niigata's Konan ward, and one of the most popular items here is their spicy miso ramen (900 yen) which is delicious and packed full of flavor -- I would definitely recommend it as a cold weather dish! They have a variety of other ramen types too, ranging from about 700 to 1100 yen in price depending on what you pick. Super close to Kameda Station if you're visiting via public transport, they're closed every Wednesday if you plan on visiting.
