Starbucks Kobe

Go for the aesthetic

Usually when I have a choice I opt for independent coffee shops over chains, but sometimes you just can't pass up a Starbucks when it's as unique as this one in Kobe is. Apparently the building is registered as a Tangible Cultural Heritage property, and it really is charming. The menu offerings are your regular Starbucks fare, but it's a much more unique atmosphere and definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.
