Rainbow trout fishing park suited to kids

Fuppu Nijimasu Fishing ponds is a rainbow trout fishing center and restaurant. It is a remote location in Yorii that is quite scenic. However, it is just off the Minano by-pass so is accessible despite its location. They have three different ponds which are relatively large. The kids founder it easier to catch fish here than anywhere else we've ever been. They grill the fish you catch for an additional fee. Or you can take them home - they will prep them for you so you can easily cook them yourself when you get home. We really liked it here, but we did find it expensive averaging at about 4000 yen per child. However, they had a rod each and caught four to five fish, some which were large. You can avoid the big bill by sharing a rod and just catching one or two... and hoping they are light weight!
