Log cabin accommodation

Yoshida Genki Mura is a log cabin resort in the former Yoshida village which is now part of Chichibu. The cabins are really great value for money. They are only open from spring to autumn as the area is very cold and icy in winter. Yoshida Genki Mura is located at the foot of Kakkaku dam. It is beside a small river that is popular for river play in summer. There is a hot spring on site as well as a sports facility with climbing wall. There is also a wood Biomass Generation Facility that offers free tours. However, the tours have been temporarily suspended. We stayed in a six people cabin. You come in on the second floor where the bedroom and bathroom are. There is a stair down to the first floor which is a kitchen and dining area. The cabins are spacious and comfortable.
