Cafe with light lunch options
Suzuhiroan is one of the eateries at Roadside Station Arakawa. It is the main building of the roadside station. It has a decent enough lunch menu, with mainly noodle dishes and curry. They have a (relatively) large ice-cream menu! The area has about half a dozen fresh fruit farms. You can get an ice-cream with real fruit pieces from those farms. They have plain ice-cream too. And chocolate dipped ice-cream which you actually rarely see in Japan. They have outdoor seating, which is what we used both times we visited on account of the Coronavirus. Self service: order the food and wait for it to be prepared and bring it to the table yourself. The restaurant itself doesn't have toilets, but the roadside station's toilets are a couple of minutes away. Free parking shared with the roadside station and one of the fruit picking farms.
