    Mouth-watering Yamagata Beef

Berokin is a Yakiniku (grilled meat) restaurant that is just 6 min on foot from Yamagata Station. One of its specialties is Yamagata beef. FOOD: The Yamagata beef was a bit pricey, but it tastes very delicious. Berokin has cheaper options, so no need to worry if you are on a budget. Aside from Yamagata beef, I really like its Bibimbap (a Korean rice dish). SERVICE: They forgot to serve us one of the items we ordered, so we needed to keep following it up. Berokin seems like a new restaurant base on its structure and I have never seen it when I was still living in Yamagata 3 years ago; hence, my husband, I and were thinking that maybe they are still not used on how to manage the Berokin, so that’s why sometimes they forget our orders. VERDICT: It’s an okay Yakiniku restaurant, but not enough to make it stand-out from other Yakiniku restaurants.
