Local butcher’s meat is always the best

I moved to this area a little over three years ago. At that time, I only knew about a more expensive burger place from New York when it came to burgers. Also, being from New York, it weirded me out to find that no in New York knew that place. This was all until I noticed that the local butcher’s store offered burgers of their own that you could eat in a small seating area in front of the counter. Fast forward, and you can now enjoy the same great burger, fully indoors, with more options. I like places like this because when done well they really show the talent people who were already in the area have. Don’t need a fancy (or now also an incredibly un-fancy) New York burger place to get a good burger. I say this as a potentially fancy New Yorker myself. The meat is good, so the burgers are good. They’re the type of place that seems to offer only brioche type buns and I’ve never felt the need to ask for anything else. The fries are also particularly nice and crispy, and ever since opening the meat cafe, there is the option of sweet potato fries as well. They also now offer steaks and other meat oriented food that you may be looking for, and a good amount of bentos for you to take home.
