Lilo Coffee - One of the Osaka's Best

Even when it was a new cafe, Lilo Coffee was one of those places that was constantly crowded. I suspect in the beginning it had a lot of friends of the owner or baristas come in, since they always seemed to stay and talk for a while. Before long, the tourists and more locals caught on and it's still always crowded. This place has a right to always be crowded because it's one of the best places you'll find for coffee in Osaka, even in Kansai. While there are some other Osaka cafes I love and can't bring myself to measure up to Lilo, Lilo stands out in being the kind of place that will make any of their coffees any way you would want it, even espresso or cappuccino. This means that you can go there over 20 times and always have your favorite drink with a different coffee, and by the time you do that it will probably be a new year and the coffee flavor will change again since thats how coffee crops work. This is especially hard to pull off with espresso or cappuccino, but as an almost strictly espresso drinker, I've never once been disappointed by a drink I've had there. Lilo also does online delivery, so those of us over in Kanto can get our Kansai flavors every once in a while. They also offer a coffee subscription with free shipping, but as far as I understand you'll only be sent blends. There are some choices within what blends you'll be sent, but considering their strength is the single origin it does feel like a slight letdown. The other thing to note is that unlike other similar cafes in Japan there's no amount you can reach in your order to get free shipping.
