Trendy cafe with outdoor seating
Anniversaire cafe embodies the trendy chic atmosphere of Omote Sando. It is a great place for lunch with friends. I love that you can sit outdoors, which is actually quite rare in Tokyo. Although thanks to the pandemic there have been an increase in places that offer al fresco dining. However, Anniversaire cafe was around long before the pandemic, at least ten years. I find it quite atypical of Tokyo and it reminds me more of cafes back home in my city of Dublin (Ireland). If you want somewhere to people watch while relaxing over an outdoor coffee, this is cafe is worth considering. They have outdoor heaters in autumn and winter and in summer they have parasols up.

Great for a special occasion
Omotesando's Anniversaire Cafe is a great spot for a special occasion lunch. It's definitely more expensive than many other Tokyo based spots (the trademark Anniversaire lunch set is ¥ 3,410), but I do feel for the atmosphere it's worth it. Sitting out on the patio area is the perfect excuse to people watch, and the cafe is super easy to get to...it's literally seconds from Omotesando Station.
